ATA Support 1.0RC6.1 (Update: 10/27/03)
ATA Support is a software that lets you use ATA cards for storage of data with your Newton. Newtons don't know naturally how to use non linear cards. ATA Support works with NewtonOS 2.x.
Latest build is probably the most stable ever. It introduces fixes for several bugs concerning the data integrity. It also fixes the problem with the MP1x0s.
Because of these bugs, you'd better backup, reformat with the new version and restore your data, although this is not mandatory.
ATA Support can be unlocked with a registration code. There is a demo version that you can use to test this build with your cards. See test question in the FAQ below.
Please send me bug reports. When I will have fixed every remaining bugs and finished the documentation, I'll release ATA Support 1.0.
