Miscellaneous Utilities
I wrote several small software that I gathered in this page because I didn't know where to put them otherwise.
Among these packages, some were written in 1997, while I was learning Newton programming. They need that I fix some
imperfections.
Some packages on this page are much more recent. They are not more complex, though. To tell you an anecdote, I wrote
WideCardFile while I was discussing with a Newton user on the late Newton Intelligence Hotline server.
There are here only software that I judge of some interest to other newton users. I wrote many software for my own use
that I never published.

BatteryCounter 1.0b1
|
|
BatteryCounter has been written to compare different brands of batteries. It counts the time passed with

the counter can be reset. The statistics can be exported to the Notes application.

BiggerNotes 1.0
|
|
The Notes application only accepts notes smaller than 8 kB. When this limit is reached, a message appears
to tell you that the note is too big to continue. This is rather painful. BiggerNotes changes the limit to
32 kB.

EuroInstaller 1.0b1
|
|
NewtonOS was written (and abandonned) before the creation of the Euro currency. EuroInstaller creates a new country,
Euroland which currency is the Euro. It defines the parity between the currencies in the Euro.
Besides, it defines the change rates from the BCE on the 6/18/1999 for several other countries: (United-States,
United-Kingdom, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Greece, Canada, Japan, Australia, New-Zealand, Cyprus,
Czech Republik, Estonia, Hungary, Poland and Sloveny).
The software is deleted once the data has been added.
